Distinctive Hi-Tech Building in East Jerusalem
EasTech offers free offices to new or existing companies interested in employing East Jerusalemites in technological fields. The building boasts 100 workstations, meeting rooms, a common kitchen, and training rooms.
There are currently eight companies and another six local startups working in the building, and we expect additional occupancy of the complex to take place soon.
We are proud and excited to unveil our new building that will provide free office space to new or existing companies interested in hiring East Jerusalemites.
This is another important step in bringing the business community closer to East Jerusalem's job seeker community.
The building is located on Salah ad-Din Street in East Jerusalem, a central road that serves as East Jerusalem's main business street. Located nearby are the prestigious American Colony Hotel, the main offices of the Ministry of Justice, the District Court, and St. George's Cathedral.
The building extends over 1,000 meters. The first floor is already set up, while a second floor will be added later.
We recently put out a call to old and new hi-tech companies, as well as to freelancers who need a place where they can sit and work, to check out our EasTech complex, which contains shared work spaces. The offices in the building are provided free of charge to companies who will employ East Jerusalemites.
The Internship Program
TIn 2023 we opened a new internship program for our candidates in cooperation with Sigma - Star for Life, a non-profit association.
As part of the program, we offer companies a unique opportunity to take in interns from a variety of hi-tech fields, at no cost on their part, without risk, and without commitment.
The candidates join the companies for 6 months, during which they receive a stipend from the association and an opportunity to learn and integrate into the industry.
Hiring interns from the program saves the company the time and effort of searching for suitable employees, does not involve employee-employer relationships, and the company is not obligated to employ the interns at the end of the internship.
The first group of interns is already working for several companies in different fields (FE, BE, Application Development) and we believe that some of them will continue to full employment.
In parallel, several other intern positions are still open and we are in the process of filling them.
For those interested in hiring interns, please fill out your details and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Success Stories
Andrey Eidelman
Director, Product Security
"Omer joined the company about a year ago.
From the start, during his interview, we identified great technical potential combined with high motivation.
During Omer’s first days at Gong he had all kinds of concerns as everything was new to him.
Gong’s organizational culture, which encourages equality and equal opportunities for everyone, helped him fit in quickly.
After an adjustment period of a few months and substantial learning, Omerintegrated into the company. He joined the team’s processes and began carrying out initial assignments.
The results speak for themselves and we are very pleased with our decision to hire him!”.
Ahmed
Software Developer
Computer Science graduate from An-Najah University in Nablus.
After graduating, I applied for many jobs but did not receive a response. Over the course of four years I sent out some 400 resumes but was never invited to an interview.
I worked odd jobs, mainly to help finance the English, Hebrew, and programming courses I took over the years that helped me develop personally and professionally.
I also worked for a year at a hi-tech company in Ramallah but, because of the low salary, I decided to resign and work as a freelance website and application builder.
I joined the EasTech program for high-quality employment for hi-tech and technology graduates and received the opportunity I never had – a chance to interview at a company for the first time – at the large AT&T company.
After preparing for the HR interviews and the technology test, I arrived at the interview better equipped. I passed all the screening stages and received positive feedback from the interviewers. I now work there as a developer.

“The candidates that we, at Natural Intelligence, took in from East Jerusalem proved themselves to be an excellent option for filling junior developer jobs in our company.
They come with the knowledge, hunger, and passion that we usually look for in young developers.
We started out with four interns and after testing their abilities we ended up choosing two that met our requirements. This was so successful that we took another candidate, and this time directly without the need for an internship.
The EasTech team has accompanied us, and continues to accompany us, throughout the entire process, helping with the screening of the candidates and with our preparations for the optimal on barding of the employees.
We are sure that this is only the beginning and more workers from East Jerusalem will join us as we go forward.”
